PageTurners is a book tracking and reviewing single page app, inspired by GoodReads. more
Users can create accounts, and then track custom collections of books called shelves. with default shelves provided for all users. Users can also rate books from their shelves, or write and read full reviews from the book's individual page. less

prove to myself that I could create something beautiful with only vanilla JavaScript. I love the elegant simplicity of 2048, so I challenged myself to make my own version. Animation especially proved to be a difficulty, but between canvas and CSS3 animations, I ended up with a game I am very proud of. When I have time, I want to add a persisting high score table, swipe navigation on mobile, and better mobile formatting. less

One day, I will be a prolific contributor to Open Source projects, but I haven't found the right place to wet my feet in that particular pool. To start getting used to that style of coding, I decided to emulate one of the greats, and created a functional replacement for jQuery. Since showing off a library can be difficult, I wrote a Sudoku puzzle to demonstrate the DOM manipulation possible. less
